Overview

Capital Program Efficiency Division (CPED) supports the Corporate Objective of maximizing profitability through the efficient and effective management and governance of the enhanced Capital Management System (CMS).

The Engineer’s primary role is to support CMS framework governance, development & implementation to maximize capital efficiency, performing analytics on projects and benchmarking data, for continuous Capital Efficiency processes improvements in all project life cycle from planning to startup, improve the predictability of capital projects through performance monitoring in planning & execution phases, ensure provision & continuity of the CMS Process change management & enable support to the Corporate through developing & delivering onboarding programs. As well as supporting the evaluation & due diligence of Joint Ventures, subsidiary & affiliates capital delivery systems.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Leads and recommends new continuous improvement solutions to improve existing capital delivery systems and processes by collaborating with Subject Mater Experts.
  • Advise readiness & performance of projects in planning and execution phases through the analysis of challenges and opportunities encountering projects.
  • Support projects delivery through projects planning phases as an advisor. Recommend the revision & development of processes, systems & procedures related to Capital Efficiency.
  • Support Capital Delivery by reviewing benchmarking analysis to determine levels of performance improvement needed in the capital delivery process.
  • Support change management activities and all associated work (such as: communication, onboarding sessions) for improved processes.
  • Analyze the projects comprehensively and holistically (technical and commercial) as well as monitor performance KPIs to determine the level of capital efficiency and advise recommendation.
  • Support the review & due diligence on the efficiency of the capital project delivery processes for the company Joint Ventures, subsidiary, & affiliates to determine for each subsidiary/affiliate the role of Company involvement.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science or Engineering in Mechanical, or Chemical, or any Engineering related field. 
  • Minimum of 9 years of experience in his respective engineering field.
