Overview

Gas Operations Technical Support Department is looking to hire a Control Systems Engineer. Such job position is expected to conducted annual assessments, system performance analysis, technical evaluations related to instruments and control systems.    

Duties and Responsibilities

You will be required to perform the following:

 

Conduct performance and compliance assessments for gas plants control systems and instrumentation and generate related reports.

 

Participate in field investigation and troubleshooting activities when needed and provide recommendation to restore control systems.

 

Conduct technical evaluations of control systems and instrumentation purchases.

 

Perform engineering studies.

Minimum Requirements

As successful candidate you must have a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering with minimum of (15) years of experience as field technical support, in the Oil/Gas industry.

 

The candidate is expected to have hands-on experience and in-depth knowledge of Distributed Control Systems (DCS), Emergency Control Systems (ESD), field sensors and measurement devices, control valves, safety valves, and process analyzers. It is also expected to have minimum knowledge of cybersecurity requirements for control systems and network.

 

The candidate is expected to have knowledge of drawings and international standards related to control systems, instrumentation, and electrical systems.
