We are seeking a UI/UX lead designer to join the Digital Communications Division (DCD) of the Corporate Communication Department. DCD is responsible for providing overall strategic design, development, management, enhancement, and oversight of the Corporate digital channels (Web & Mobile).
The UI/UX’s primary role is to craft user-centered customer journeys that combine the latest in best practices and creative adaptations, while leveraging the strategic insights and analytics, and addressing the business goals and requirements. The position requires an individual who is passionate about user experience, is creative and innovative, with strong proficiency in design, typography, interaction design, layouts, branding, and color patterns.
Candidate will be required to provide strategic input into web and mobile design elements from the corporate website to individual microsites and mobile apps. Candidate will provide guidance on navigation, design, features, interaction patterns, graphical layout, color schemes, and user journeys. Deliverables may be in the form of full interactive designs and prototypes (e.x. Figma) or experience maps and blueprint diagrams.
Requirements of the role include:
Demonstrated proficiency in interaction design, layouts, font use, color patterns, and motion design
Strong proficiency in user-centered design principles
Demonstrated ability to implement creative and innovative design solutions for Desktop and Mobile
Demonstrated proficiency in developing User Interface designs based on Industry UI standards
Demonstrated proficiency in developing user journeys that map to business requirements and audience profiles
Demonstrated ability to deliver consistent visual design across different channels (Web & Mobile)
Presenting creative designs, prototypes, UI/UX concepts, wireframes and other deliverables to executive level management.
A successful candidate should hold a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized and approved program in the fields of Graphic Design, Visual Studies, Interaction Design, or related field with equivalent experience.
Candidate Should have five or more years of experience in digital design, strong preference for digital agency experience.
Candidate Should have experience with prototyping solutions like Figma/Sketch
Candidate Should have experience developing consistent designs across multiple devices, browsers and channels
Candidate Should have proven proficiency in digital design processes, front-end design, UX/UI design standards and methodologies
Candidate Should have strong experience in User testing methodologies and processes. Developing user testing surveys, prototypes, and running focus groups as part of UI and UX end-user testing
Candidate Should have strong understanding of design fundamentals that include visual design, typography, illustration, and animation
Candidate Should have experience in brand design and development, as well as adhering to brand design guidelines
Candidate Should be proficient in web and mobile design
Candidate Should be proficient in developing customer journey based on data insights and map to business needs and requirements
