Overview

We are seeking a Statistician to join Ithra Digital Wellness Program of King Abdulaziz Center of World Culture (Ithra).

The Digital Wellbeing program is a global flagship initiative by Ithra with very high ambitions to tackle the issues from unbalanced and excessive digital usage, and to promote a balanced and moderate healthy relationship with digital solutions

The Statistician’s primary role is to develop researches by using mathematical and statistical techniques to deeply analyze raw data to identify useful trends and insights, interpret and analyze data from multiple sources to come up with imaginative solutions to issues regarding digital wellbeing. 
 

Key Responsibilities

You will be required to perform the following: 
 
Develop research strategy and roadmaps through content visualization from qualitative and qualitative data.

Assess potential international research partners.

Identify trends and relationships in raw data using mathematical and statistical techniques to deeply analyze process.

Design automated processes from data collection, analyzing and monitoring through its shelf life.

Minimum Requirements

As the successful candidate you will hold a Bachelors degree in statistics, mathematics, or other relevant fields from a recognized and approved program. An advanced degree in a related field is preferred. 

You will have minimum of five years of experience working as a statistician or a similar role, including experience of working with large amounts of sensitive raw data

You will be able to demonstrate an analytical skillset, to compile and organize statistical information, detect patterns and anomalies in data.

You will be also able to leverage computer software and databases to collect and manipulate data, to strongly convey and present finding and recommendation.
