POSITION SUMMARY

 

Transport Planning and Coordination: Developing and implementing transportation plans and strategies to facilitate the movement of Employees from the mainland (Red Sea Project) to the island (H11 or/and H12) and between the two islands. This includes coordinating with transportation service providers such as buses, ferries, rapid transit, and other means of transportation to ensure the provision of efficient and reliable services.

 

Route Planning and Optimization: Analyzing transportation patterns and demand to identify optimal routes and schedules. This may involve considering factors such as congestion in bus and boat transportation, reducing employee waiting times, and establishing clear employee scheduling.

 

Supervision of Transportation Team: Managing a team of transportation workers such as drivers or operators by providing guidance, training, and performance feedback. Ensuring compliance with safety protocols and employee service standards is also important.

 

Fleet Management: Overseeing the maintenance and repair of transportation vehicles such as boats and buses. This includes monitoring vehicle inspections and maintenance schedules with contracted providers, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations.

 

Employee Service: Ensuring a high level of employee satisfaction by addressing their concerns, resolving complaints, and implementing measures to improve the public transportation experience.

 

Data Analysis and Reporting: Collecting and analyzing transportation-related data, such as passenger/Employees statistics, travel patterns, and service performance indicators. Using this data to identify trends, propose improvements, and prepare reports for management or stakeholders.

 

Collaboration and Stakeholder Management: Collaborating with various stakeholders, including local authorities, as this will be crucial in the future when we have our own boats.

 

This position will report directly to the HR Assistant Director and should possess the following skills and experience:

 

  • Strong knowledge and experience in transport planning and coordination, including developing and implementing transportation plans and strategies to optimize the movement of people.

 

  • Proven expertise in route planning and optimization, with the ability to analyze transportation patterns and demand to identify the most efficient routes and schedules.

 

  • Excellent managerial skills to effectively supervise and lead a team of transportation workers, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.

 

  • Comprehensive understanding of fleet management principles, including overseeing vehicle maintenance and repair, monitoring inspections and maintenance schedules, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations.

 

  • Strong focus on employee service and satisfaction, with the ability to address concerns, resolve complaints, and implement measures to enhance the overall public transportation experience.

 

  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting, including collecting and analyzing transportation-related data to identify trends, propose improvements, and prepare reports for management and stakeholders.

 

  • Proven ability to collaborate and effectively manage relationships with various stakeholders, particularly local authorities, to ensure smooth coordination and cooperation.

 

  • Engage with employees through an energetic and positive approach, addressing their needs promptly and effectively using the existing system.
