OU Description

Our Accounting Advisory Consulting team currently has exciting opportunities within its Accounting Advisory offering. Our team advises clients on a wide range of transactions, identifying issues and providing accounting options and solutions that meet our client’s objectives. We are seeking highly motivated and experienced professionals to join our Accounting Advisory team specializing in OCED international tax framework Pillar II. You will play a critical role in advising clients on complex accounting issues, investment strategies, consolidation accounting, with a focus on accounting for investments and capital restructuring.

Roles & Responsibilities_x000D_
  • Provide expert advice on complex accounting issues, including investments, consolidations, and joint ventures.
  • Advise clients on the impact and implementation of OECD Pillar Two framework for large multinational enterprises.
  • Lead and manage client engagements, ensuring the delivery of high-quality advisory services.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, understanding their unique needs and providing tailored solutions.
  • Stay updated on the latest accounting standards and regulatory changes, particularly in relation to Pillar II.
  • Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and successful completion.
  • Ability to motivate and coach team members on the project and provide on-job training to the team.

Skills and Competencies_x000D_

 

  • In-depth knowledge of consolidations, joint ventures, and accounting for investments.
  • In-depth understanding of IFRS and general accounting principles.
  • Proven experience and understanding of Pillar II regulations and their implications.
  • Proficiency in English; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
  • Ability and willingness to travel within the Middle East based on the project and client requirements.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team with a fast paced and a high energy that will translate into a high-quality output.
  • Excellent organizational skills, having the ability to prioritize workload whilst being resilient and being able to cope well under pressure and meeting tight deadlines.
  • Ability to coordinate with different lines of service within PwC.
Educational Qualifications & Certifications_x000D_

Education:

  •  Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business studies, accounting, or finance.
  • Certification in accounting: ACA, ACCA, CPA, or similar accounting certification.

 

Experience: 

  • 3 to 8 years of experience in accounting advisory, with a strong focus on complex accounting issues, investments in a Big 4 firm.
  • Experience in the GCC is beneficial.
