Position description

We are seeking an attorney with general corporate experience to join Saudi Aramco’s Law Organization in its headquarters in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia.

Specifically, a Sales attorney is expected to provide the following:

  1. Commercially oriented legal advice to Saudi Aramco and its subsidiaries particularly in the area of crude and product sales, retail, and the corresponding logistics (including shipping, freight and hauling). 
  2. A broad range of general corporate support including all related commercial transactions, governance, litigation, compliance, risk management, environmental, human resources, and technology.

Saudi Aramco’s Law Organization is growing in response to a broad corporate initiative that involves the continued growth of its exploration, production, refining and marketing, along with expansion into petrochemicals, renewables, power and other sectors of the energy business. Minimum requirements

As the successful candidate, you will have:

Six plus years of relevant experience with a sophisticated law firm or corporation. 

Strong general corporate experience is required. 

Specific experience in one or more of the following areas is required:  sales, retail, logistics, interfacing with government entities, commercial transactions, governance, litigation, compliance, risk management, environmental, human resources and technology. 

Trading and/or Maritime experience are not required but considered a strong plus.

Proficient in Arabic and English.

Candidates must be currently licensed, admitted to practice, and in good standing in the United States, England and Wales, Canada, or the European Union.
